All industrial size thermal label printers will use a 3" diameter core and some can use both 3" cores and fanfold. There are also 1" cores but they are being used less and less. Our collection of thermal labels for transfer printing on these three inch cores are extensive. Most sizes will have a choice of both perforated and non-perforated. A variety of materials, adhesives and color thermal labels are available on 3" cores for your industrial printers. If you do not see a size you need, please contact us, we can manufacture custom size labels.
Thermal transfer labels on 3" cores with a 8" OD are available:
- Bright white matte with permanent adhesive
- Bright white matte with aggressive adhesive
- Polyester material for outdoor harsh environments
- All Temp adhesive for cold storage applications
- Pastel and fluorescent color labels
- Jumbo rolls in popular sizes
Thermal transfer labels use a printer which requires a thermal print ribbon. This can be a wax thermal ribbon, wax/resin or resin thermal ribbon.

AggressiveThermal transfer labels for all types labeling applications requiring stronger adhesive bondage because of the temperature, but most commonly the surface the label will be applied to. Excellent for corrugated boxes, Packaging labels, retail applications and high quality barcoding.
PolyPolyester thermal transfer labels for demanding applications, strong adhesion waterproof, outdoor use, very durable with a high quality print. Thermal wax resin ribbon is required. Labels 3" cores with 8" O.D. Test before buying.
RemovableRemovable adhesive thermal transfer labels on 3" cores. If you need a temporary labeling solution, for example, reusing cartons boxes. Labels have a mild bond strength and can generally be removed without tearing or leaving a residue
